Ginger and Tumeric Water
This is my daily go to water. It is packed full of health benefits and flavor. It only takes a few minutes to make and it lasts all day. When you run out of water fill it up. Stay tune for many more variations on this water.
Slice the Small Roots 2 Minutes
Turmeric and Ginger are small roots. Hold the root vegetable with a claw grip and with the other hand slice it to the thickness of a poker chip.
Slice the Citrus Fruit 2 Minutes
Place the lemon, lime, orange or any other small citrus fruit on its side with the cores facing horizontally. Use one hand to hold the lemon with a claw grip, and use the other hand with a knife to slice through the center of the citrus fruit to cut it in half. Take one half and hold it with the claw grip with the lemon flesh facing outward, with the other hand slice an 1/8 of an inch slices.
Make the Salad Water 5 Minutes
Take all the ingredients you just prepped and place them in a water bottle that is made of glass or stainless steel. (We always choose glass over stainless steel as it produces a better flavor). Fill the water with filtered water and refill throughout the day when the bottle is empty. If you really want to up the flavor profiles buy some Fiji water or any other high quality water and use it instead of filtered tap water. WARNING: this water is highly addictive and will make sure that you stay hydrated.
